I guide Humans to experience their creative power, their Divinity, more deeply through healing movement and creative embodiment practices.

The journey of embodiment is nuanced, just like our very individualized experiences of life. But there is something I deeply believe we are all seeking or striving to experience at all times in life: spiritual wholeness. To be embodied is for the soul-self, the spirit-self, to be authentically expressed through the experience of the physical body and integrated into material life. At the onset of our self-reclamation and soul-expression journey, we may experience the striving towards wholeness as a compulsion to defend ourselves in order to eventually experience the peace, joy, wisdom, and power inherent to our core, true Selves. My work here is to support the union of the Masculine with the Feminine, the mind with the body and heart, the ethers with Earth consciousness.

My own personal embodiment practice began in earnest in 2020, though it’s likely I have been dancing since I could knew I could move, and that I have been a dancer for many lifetimes. Aside from shaking my ass to every rapid beat and intuitively moving to whatever tune has played in the background in any context, I took an interest in Vinyasa Yoga and belly dance in 2013. From there, I could be found in yoga studios, dance studios, pole studios, aerial fitness studios, and other movement spaces in any of the 7 countries I’ve lived in.

The teaching of embodiment begins with the embodiment of the teacher. The dedication, intention, compassion, and enthusiasm of the student flows, like the sacred elixir of water, from the student to the teacher, and back again. As long as I am alive and breathing, I will be a student of embodiment, and as is my design, I will teach what I know and learn.

I’ve performed and taught at festivals and given community dance classes. In August 2022 during a creative residency in Mexico City, I taught Creative Essence Embodiment, a sensual dance class. This practice fuses intuitive movement, sensual experiencing, and sensual dance performance to guide participants into their wellspring of embodied freedom. The 5-part series invited women to deepen their connection with their physical body, their internal world, and then present themselves in sensual performance from the space of embodied, creative essence. From December 2023 to March 2024 I held sessions of Creative Essence Embodiment as well as Slow Flow Yoga classes in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica.

On the level of the body — anatomy, physiology, and psychology — my teachings and practices are founded on yogic principles and those of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) through my training in both yoga and Qigong. Both holistic wisdom practices offer opportunities for inner alchemy, or the transformation of life force energy through the cultivation of self-awareness, intention and willpower, access to subtle sensitivities, and authentic expression — creative expression — for ultimate wellness and internal harmony.

In my embodiment practice, curiosity, grace, levity, and intention are the pillars by which I guide and teach movement. This spaciousness coupled with intentionality allows for the innermost wisdom of the body and the being to rise and be integrated into the whole Self. And there is massive wisdom residing, resting, stewing, simmering, clamoring, singing, screaming from the inside, ready to emerge and be made whole again. Whether it is through a relaxing or energizing yoga practice, dance movement or performance, or some combination of energy movement + cultivation modalities, in this space, you are held and supported. I teach and guide through a trauma-informed lens because to be human is to live with and move through experiences of stress and trauma that live within our bodies — physical and energetic. I believe that embodiment practices that intentionally and compassionately engage with trauma and the stories that live within our bodies lead to the highest degree of personal and spiritual transformation available to us.

In all of this, I am aligned with devotion to the Divine Feminine aspect of existence through restoring the sacred nature of the Feminine within our bodies-minds-hearts. In 2024, I followed the call to deepen my yoga studies by training in Yoga Nidra, an incredible and accessible healing modality working on the level of the subconscious mind through brainwave resonance. I then began my year-long training in the innovative yogic healing modality of KMRT® (Kundalini Magnetic Resonance Therapy) with the core skill of Kinaesthetic Listening. Through this modality, I am deepening my practice/journey as a conscious birthkeeper, beginning as a guide to individual women to rebirth themselves through the restoration of the Sacred Feminine within. And in everything, this work begins with my own inner work, inner calling, independent study and practice. My own lived experiences of physical and emotional pain have brought me — as a practitioner first and guide thereafter — deeply into my subconscious and unconscious patterning to eventually experience the grace that results from the intentional practice of self-compassion. So self-compassion is foundational in my facilitation and guidance; where shame lives, power resides. This work is about the conscious reclamation of our power through intentional presence with the whole Self — shifting, morphing, dying, and expanding as it may be.
